Is rosacea hereditary?
There are strong signs that ethnicity is a factor in one's potential to develop rosacea. The majority of ethnic groups tend to be northern european decent, with a large percentage of Irish, English and Welsh.

Signs and Symptoms
Rosacea can cause facial swelling, burning, and iching. In most cases the client or patient should consider their skin to be "super" if not "ultra sensitive". In the late progressive stage of rhinophyma, a form of rosacea that effect mostly men, the swelling causes it to become bulbous and bumpy. Surgery can help improve some of the appearance by removeing layers of skin on the nose area.
